Classes — Online or in person

In person classes held in studio/gallery at 124 S. 9th. St., Studio 5, Lincoln NE. Online classes held via Zoom.

Photography: One-on-one class tailored to meet individual interests and learn about your own camera. Improve your skills as you learn the specifics of your camera with a goal to getting the pictures you want. We will cover camera settings, modes, shutter speed, aperture and ISO, and how to take portraits, landscapes, nature, sporting events, and close-ups.

Cell Phone and Tablet Photography: Learn how to take better pictures with your cell phone and/or tablet, as well as editing those pictures on the devices themselves. You will learn about useful apps to enhance your creative skills. We will discuss useful post-processing techniques that can be done right on your device.

Scanning: Learn how to digitize your valuable prints, negatives and slides. We will look at scanning techniques and some of the devices to make scanning easy to do. We will also discuss the software necessary to scan your negatives, slides and photos and look at the software “VueScan.”

Under the Apple Tree: Do you have a Mac computer, an iPad, an iPhone, or an Apple Watch…or, even a Home Pod? From editing photos to word processing to spreadsheets to turning on-and-off the lights in your home, these incredibly high-tech devices can be both easy and fun to use. We will touch on some of the more useful features of Apple’s amazing products as well as demonstrate some practical features and apps to help make your life a bit easier.

Minimum required purchase (for one-on-one classes) is two hours for the first session. Subsequent classes can be booked in one-hour increments.
